Information policy of the digital Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the computerization of public administration and self-government of the Czech Republic, specifically the Government Program of Digitization of the Czech Republic 2018+ (October 2018). The thesis will analyze a summary of concepts that will gradually provide for the technological development of the Czech Republic in the field of economic digitization and in the society of ongoing digital changes. The technological development of digitization will gradually enter all areas of life. Furthermore, three key pillars (partial concepts/strategies), which together form one logical unit with a large number of internal links, but at the same time focus on different beneficiaries in their internal composition and also on the differences given by the current legislative definition: 1. Czechia in Digital Europe; 2. Information Concept of the Czech Republic 2022; 3. Concept: Digital economy and society. The aim of the thesis is to define basic terms, the historical development of digitization in the Czech Republic, the analysis of the current state of the digitization process of the Czech Republic and the comparison between individual years.
